Shows and competitions are for beef breeds the first selection tool. They give the opportunity to the breeders to compare and evaluate their breeding programs. Successful matings must be individually dealt with and depend on the skills of the Belgian Blue breeders to integrate multiple factors (zoo technical, economic, medical …) in their breeding program.
